Due to increasing population and expansion of residential area Anjuman Urdu Primary School could not accommodate the large number of primary school going children nor could it arrange for their to and fro transportation. The need to establish new primary school to cater the needs of new residential areas was keenly felt. The establishment of Anjuman Noor Primary School at the out skirt of the old town did not fully meet the need. At this juncture the young philanthropist Mr. Nayeem Ikkeri donated 20 gunthas of land in Azad Nagar. A centrally located new residential area.
After constructing eight classrooms at the gifted site, Anjuman Azad Primary School was started in 2001 and this accommodation was found to be insufficient at the start itself. Hence, one more classroom and an additional staircase were constructed, in the same year.
In the following year, one more floor was constructed. The lower primary section is yet to be accomplished. The upper primary section will have to be started thereafter, for which one more floor will be required to be added to the present structure.
